Discover the wonderful Sorrento peninsula by kayaking inside the Punta Campanella Marine Protected Area up to the Ieranto Bay, discovering the myth of Ulysses and the places where the Sirens lived. A unique experience that will allow you to explore exclusive caves unknown to the general public and historic buildings. Paddling on the blue table of the sea will always have Capri in the background: the right panorama for an unforgettable day.
You will experience the local traditions and the magic of historical places that the myth has helped to make fascinating and mysterious, getting in perfect harmony with the sea and nature. You will fall in love with it!
During the paddling we will be told the history of the place, since Ulysses escaped the bewitching assault of the Sirens. We will listen to the popular legends of the coves and caves, we will discover marine and terrestrial flora and fauna, led by the guide in the protected areas of the FAI Heritage.
We will visit the Cascatella Bay and will have a “fresh shower”, we will see the villa of General Murat, the limestone caves and the suggestive coves, we will bathe in the enchanting Mitigliano Bay diving directly into the cave and then, having reached the tip, we will look up to admire the Punta Campanella lighthouse.
We will stop inside the Bay of Ieranto to have a packed lunch (included in the price) and take a bath in its crystal clear waters together with fish and molluscs that find shelter in this magnificent protected area.
- This activity is of an hard level. You can participate from 14 years upwards. No previous kayaking experience is required.
- The tour is not accessible to people over 195cm tall and weighing more than 100kg.
- The activity is not recommended for those who cannot swim or suffer from seasickness, and it is prohibited for those suffering from heart disease or problems with the back, arms and lower limbs.
